Chicago’s Union Station Chooses Rubbermaid Commercial Products (RCP) Above the Rest

Winchester, Va. (August 22, 2002) – Chicago’s Union Station, the last remaining passenger terminal for intercity trains in Chicago, has chosen RCP’s fiberglass 2-bin Recycling Station over competitive products. Eighty Recycling Stations were ordered for the main concourse and train platform areas where some 50,000 commuters pass through every day.

In the past, Union Station used separate recycling containers but found them to be cumbersome and laborious. Rubbermaid’s commercial containers were chosen for their easy-use and low-maintenance features.
